Job Summary
Medical Case Manager II role for CorVel involving in-person and telephonic case management of injured workers within a defined jurisdiction. Heavy local travel (up to ~60% of time) with potential overnight travel; work-from-home and on-the-road duties; collaborate with patients, families, physicians, employers, and attorneys; conduct home visits; coordinate discharge planning and equipment delivery; assess treatment plans for medical necessity and cost effectiveness; requires RN licensure and preferred CCM/CIRS certifications; strong communication, multi-tasking, and organizational skills; proficient with Microsoft Office; capable of independent work and team collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- RN Licensure in state of operation
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Certification as CCM, CIRS, or other Case Management certifications preferred
- Current RN Licensure in state of operation
- Experience as an RN Medical Case Manager is ideal, or a clinical background in orthopedics, neurology, or rehabilitation is preferred
- A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to assigned locations is required
