Job Summary
CA Facility needs a Locums Family Practice Physician for outpatient care in Coos Bay, OR. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with 1-hour lunch. Typical workload of 12–20 patients per day. Provides care across the lifespan from newborn to geriatric, including outpatient women's services (pap smears), minor surgery (laceration repair), and orthopedic procedures (joint injections). Support from nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Minimum 6-month commitment. CompHealth provides housing and travel arrangements, malpractice coverage, credentialing and privileging assistance, and an online portal for assignments and time entry. Compensation ranges from $120.00 to $145.00 hourly; rates are all-inclusive and reflect base pay plus overtime, call, and holiday pay. Your recruiter handles details of the assignment.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Medical license in good standing
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with primary care practice experience
