Job Summary
District Support Pharmacists cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across the district, traveling to stores to fill shifts, oversee workflow and safe dispensing, serve as Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts, coach staff in compassionate patient care, and expand clinical services such as testing and prescribing where permissible. Responsibilities include ensuring safe prescription fulfillment, maintaining inventory with emphasis on cold chain, supporting immunizations, resolving insurance and medication issues, and contributing to a safe, inclusive team environment while complying with applicable laws and CVS Health policies.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
