Job Summary
Pharmacist for CVS Health Omnicare Long Term Care Pharmacy responsible for dispensing, order verification, sterile IV preparation when required, inventory management for schedule II drugs, compliance with DEA/state laws and HIPAA, and providing coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must hold CA pharmacist license with BS in Pharmacy or PharmD; immunization/IV certifications preferred. Full-time role with competitive benefits across multiple CA locations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a licensed pharmacist in the state of California
- Active & in good standing license
- Education: Bachelors of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy
- Anticipated Weekly Hours 40
- Immunization certification or willingness to become immunization certified (Preferred)
- IV Certification or experience (Preferred)
- DEA/state law knowledge with regards to controlled drug dispensing
- Pharmacist licensure in CA
- Ability to provide evening, weekend and holiday coverage
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills
