Job Summary
Develop domain architectures and contribute to specifications for cloud-based or on-premises components, translating them into detailed designs using selected services. Support projects by preparing technical plans, aligning solutions with enterprise architecture standards, and eliciting, documenting, and reviewing detailed requirements. Assist in scoping, prioritizing, and managing change initiatives while ensuring traceability to source and maintaining the requirements baseline. Monitor project progress, facilitate resource utilization, and investigate authorized change requests in line with change management policy. Requires active NATO SECRET clearance, a BSc in technical IT subjects, and 3+ years of system engineering experience in domain and user-oriented capabilities. Full-time on-site role in The Hague starting September 2026.
Required Qualifications
- currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree at a nationally recognised/certified university in a technical subject with substantial Information Technology (IT) content
- 3 years post-related experience
- system engineering, domain, and user-oriented capabilities
- System-of-systems engineering and lifecycle management
- Requirements engineering and traceability, including use of structured tooling such as DOORS or equivalent
- Technical baseline and interface management
- Integration planning and verification strategy development
- Operational domain knowledge, particularly in AirC2, federated mission operations and NATO operational constructs
- Human factors, usability analysis and user journey assessment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
- Knowledge of NATO organization, internal structure and resultant relationships
