Job Summary
IT Service Desk Technician responsible for first-contact resolution of hardware and software issues across laptops, mobile devices, VPN connectivity, and MS Office, managing tickets end-to-end (incident, service requests, changes), maintaining IT asset and knowledge bases, and collaborating with users and staff. Requires NATO SECRET clearance and fluency in English and French; extensive knowledge of Microsoft products, VPN, MDM, and BMC Remedy; ability to work with limited supervision and perform change coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- Relevant Service Desk 1st level support experience
- Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications, Office and OS
- Extensive knowledge of Service Desk ticketing tools (BMC Remedy)
- Extensive knowledge of VPN software and VPN troubleshooting
- Minimal Mobile Device Management (MDM) knowledge
- English and French language proficiency (written and spoken)
