Job Summary
Automotive Technician role focusing on preventive maintenance and light repair tasks with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include basic suspension and steering diagnosis/repair, brake diagnosis/repair, alignments, tire repair, fluid maintenance, TPMS repairs/replacements, and battery checks; perform recalls when certification level is obtained; complete work as outlined on repair orders per factory and dealership standards; review factory bulletins, campaigns, updates, and recalls; document work performed; assess when further safety or service work is needed; maintain compliance with federal/state/local regulations (hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know); utilize manufacturer-specific training and participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs; continuously expand knowledge of new technology. Required Qualifications
- Automotive technical school certifications preferred but not required
- Previous automotive experience as a "D" level tech required
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have basic tools
- Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
- Must have good prior work or school attendance
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
