Job Summary
Automotive Technician/Trainee role at Asbury (Mercedes-Benz/Draper) focused on hands-on repair and maintenance. Responsibilities include completing preventive maintenance and light repairs independently, assisting senior/master technicians with more complex work, performing routine vehicle inspections, basic suspension and steering diagnosis, brake diagnosis, tire-related services, TPMS work, battery checks, recalls when certification allows, and documenting all work on repair orders. Stay current with factory bulletins, campaigns, recalls, and adhere to safety/regulatory training (OSHA Right-to-Know, hazardous waste disposal). Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training and ongoing learning to advance technical skills; utilize factory guidelines and internal inspection forms. Requires at least some previous automotive experience at a D-level tech, good attendance, a valid driver’s license, basic tools, and passing a background/drug test.
