C-Tech/Apprentice/Trainee - Larry H Miller Volkswagen Avondale

Automotive Technician role focused on preventive maintenance and light repairs with independence from direct supervision. Responsibilities include performing routine vehicle inspections, basic suspension/steering and brake diagnosis and repair, alignments, tire service, TPMS repairs/replacements, battery checks, recalls as certified, and documenting all work on repair orders. The technician must stay current with factory bulletins and recalls, participate in manufacturer-sponsored training, and apply newly learned techniques to continually expand knowledge of new technology. Automotive technical school certifications are preferred but not required. Requires an eighteen-year-old minimum, valid driver's license, basic tools, and successful completion of a background check and drug test.
