Job Summary
Greet customers, manage point of sale transactions, and maintain a clean, organized store environment including gas pumps. Stock shelves, clean the sales floor, and ensure the store appearance meets standards while supporting team members. Perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Maintain composure during high-pressure situations and adhere to all safety and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once
- Dedication to Integrity, Teamwork and Customer Service
- The ability to maintain composure during time of uncertainty
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays on a rotational basis
- Work Cards required for jurisdiction must be provided prior to the start date
- Valid Health Card
- Valid Alcohol Awareness Card
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in English
- Written communication skills in in English may also be required
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Standing for long periods of time
- The ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- The ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach and type without assistance from others
Desired Qualifications
- Previous POS experience, retail sales, gas station attendant or customer service is a plus
