Job Summary
Direct all convenience store associates to provide outstanding customer service, greet every visitor, and maintain a clean, friendly atmosphere. Schedule and supervise staff while following merchandising plans based on product movement, demand, and profitability. Order supplies and merchandise to control inventory, minimize out-of-stocks and shrink, and maximize sales. Price and date products accurately, complete weekly purchase reports, and ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, security, and governmental regulations. Lift 60 lb. boxes and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently while working on floors that may become slippery. Attain sales, labor, and gross profit projections to support store operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various work stations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good corrected vision
- Must have good hearing
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
- Must comply with all company policies including following dress code and wearing name tag
