Job Summary
Greet customers, process point of sale transactions, and maintain a clean, organized store environment. Stock shelves, clean the facility, and manage gas pumps while ensuring the outside appearance meets standards. Provide exceptional service under pressure by multitasking and staying composed during busy shifts. Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis. Valid health and alcohol awareness cards are required prior to start. Terrible's has grown for over 70 years, prioritizing product knowledge and efficient, friendly service at every location.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once
- Dedication to Integrity, Teamwork and Customer Service
- The ability to maintain composure during time of uncertainty
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays on a rotational basis
- Work Cards required for jurisdiction must be provided prior to the start date
- Valid Health Card
- Valid Alcohol Awareness Card
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in English
- Written communication skills in in English
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Standing for long periods of time
- The ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- The ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach and type without assistance from others
Desired Qualifications
- Previous POS experience, retail sales, gas station attendant or customer service is a plus
