Job Summary
Cashier role at a c-store focused on delivering exceptional customer service and a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling POS transactions, stocking and cleaning, maintaining gas-pump area, and supporting the team. Requires strong communication, multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, flexibility to work evenings/weekends/holidays, and prior POS/retail or gas station experience is a plus. Candidates should be able to read and communicate in English and comply with safety and procedural instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Provide exceptional customer service and greet all customers
- Responsible for the appearance of store; keep clean, neat, organized
- Accurate point of sale (POS) customer transactions
- Stocking and cleaning of the store
- Maintain cleanliness and management of gas pumps and outside appearance of the store
- Support to team members; promote positive team environment
- Multitask effectively; remain composed in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous POS experience, retail sales, gas station attendant or customer service is a plus
- Willing and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays on a rotational basis
- Work Cards required for jurisdiction must be provided prior to start date
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English; verbal and written communication in English
