Job Summary
C-Store Attendant responsible for cashiering, retail, and guest service at Blue Lake Fuel & Fun. Delivers excellent guest service, maintains a clean, safe, and organized environment around fuel pumps and store, stocks and displays retail items, processes cash and credit transactions via POS, and supports food, tobacco, and beverage item deliveries. Must learn policies and procedures, work with staff, demonstrate basic computer literacy and POS system use, and uphold safety and regulatory requirements including licenses and certifications (Blue Lake Tribal Gaming Commission License, Underground Storage Training, Propane Dispensing Training). Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle customer interactions professionally are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer literacy including use of computerized service station software, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and inventory management software
- Knowledge of office equipment including telephone, fax, credit card processors and cash register/POS systems
- Ability to relate with visitors and staff; maintain a positive attitude and sense of humor at all times
- Excellent interpersonal skills in relating with customers and staff
- Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Must maintain a valid and active Blue Lake Tribal Gaming Commission License
- Must obtain and maintain credential in Underground Storage Training for Attendants within 30 days of employment
- Must obtain and maintain credential in Propane Dispensing Training within 30 days of employment
