Job Summary
Conduct cashier, retail, and guest service duties at Blue Lake Fuel & Fun, including collecting cash and processing credit card transactions. Maintain a clean environment across pump islands, parking lots, interiors, and restrooms while ensuring site safety for fuels, food, and guests. Stock and display retail items, verify deliveries against invoices, and operate POS systems and inventory management software. Enforce policies and procedures with fairness, uphold the company's professional reputation, and complete assigned tasks under the Fuel Mart Manager's direction. Maintain a valid Blue Lake Tribal Gaming Commission License and required underground storage and propane dispensing credentials.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Basic computer literacy including use of computerized service station software, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and inventory management software
- Knowledge of office equipment including telephone, fax, credit card processors and cash register/POS systems
- Basic computer literacy including use of computerized software systems
- Ability to relate with visitors and staff; maintain a positive attitude and sense of humor at all times
- Excellent interpersonal skills in relating with customers and staff
- Knowledge of office equipment including telephone, fax, photocopier, credit card processors, and cash register, and POS systems
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Valid and active Blue Lake Tribal Gaming Commission License
- Credential in Underground Storage Training for Attendants
- Credential in Propane Dispensing Training
