C-Store Assistant Manager

The C-Store Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in daily operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include hiring, training, and developing team members; maintaining a clean, well-stocked store; ensuring compliance with beverage laws; delivering courteous service; leading staff to achieve store inspection scores of 90% or higher; overseeing cash handling, register balancing, and bank deposits; and performing duties to meet business needs, including staffing up to six days per week and working at least two nights per week. Ideal candidates have strong customer service, reliability, punctuality, teamwork, organization, initiative, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment. Education/experience sought include retail, food service, or customer service background; basic math proficiency; and on-the-job training. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; able to stand for long periods, work in a cooler, lift up to 50 lbs, and travel up to 10%. At-will employment and EEO protections apply.
