Job Summary
Assists C-Store Manager with store operations including check out, merchandising, layout, inventory, bookkeeping, and maintenance. Acting Manager in Store Managers absence. Responsibilities include reviewing and following up on daily work lists, supervising the sale of retail goods, monitoring food service areas, updating pricing, training and supervising clerks in the manager's absence, handling open/close procedures, receiving and processing merchandise and vendor shipments, ordering merchandise to maintain inventory, and overseeing stock and display of merchandise and supplies. Requires strong decision making, teambuilding, customer service, communication skills, and relevant retail experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years retail/store experience
- Proficient in computer usage including POS systems and the Internet
