Job Summary
Develop and maintain Civil engineering applications by independently designing and implementing high-quality software with a global project team. Perform unit testing to ensure code assets satisfy required use cases while delivering well-documented, easy-to-modify code. Take ownership of functionality and designs, providing and accepting constructive feedback. Research and integrate new technologies, applying them in production environments. Design architectures of moderate complexity equivalent to subsystems. Work within Agile and Scrum practices to advance infrastructure asset lifecycles into the digital world.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in computer science, software engineering or related field
- 3+ years' experience designing and implementing excellent quality software
- Proficient in C++
- Experience in C#
- Thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming and the proper application of design patterns
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them in production
- Deliver high-quality, well-documented code that is easy for others to understand and modify
- Ability to design architectures of moderate complexity equivalent to subsystems
- Must be proactive and results-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems, and know when to ask for help
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with technologies such as Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET Framework
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development practices
- Experience with XML and XSLT
