Job Summary
C#/.Net Developer needed for a 100% U.S.-based remote role supporting the Veterans Affairs domain. Responsibilities include technical planning, requirements definition, test planning/execution, software system integration and support, full-stack development with .NET back-end using C#, unit testing with NUnit/xUnit/MSTest, and CI/CD deployment. You’ll participate in agile ceremonies, ensure performance/quality of applications, provide production support, promote good software engineering practices (test automation, modularization), interface with stakeholders, document designs, and leverage IDEs (Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code) along with Azure DevOps and Git. Required qualifications emphasize multiple years of .NET experience, a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust, and the ability to work in a fully remote U.S.-based environment. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline (required)
- Eight (8) or more years of experience in software development using .NET technologies (required)
- Five (5) or more years of experience in software development using .NET technologies (required)
- Experience with designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level applications (required)
- U.S. Citizenship required for this specific opportunity (required)
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance (required)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) (required)
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tooling (required)
- Strong knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core, C# (required)
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs and SQL Server/Data access (required)
- Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git (required)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline with 5+ years of experience
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline with 3+ years of experience
- Eight (8) or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
- Experience leading development initiatives and mentoring junior developers
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS)
- Formal education and years of experience aligning to security clearance requirements
- Citizenship and security clearance eligibility requirements (US citizenship, Public Trust MBIS)
- Experience with EDI X.12 medical claims would be a plus
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, IaC
- Strong security best-practices for web apps and APIs
- Team collaboration and ability to work independently
