C Lineman - Overhead (Duke)

Job Summary
Conduct new construction, maintain, and repair energized and de-energized overhead distribution systems, including installing and fixing power lines, poles, insulators, and conductors. Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and tensioners while climbing wood, steel, and concrete structures to work at heights and in confined spaces. Perform live-line work using approved gloving and hot-stick techniques for troubleshooting and fault locating. Work outdoors in extreme heat, cold, rain, and wind, reporting to the Foreman. Available for outages, storms, and emergencies on call rotation, including long-distance travel and weekend callouts.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years of relevant field experience
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Willing to travel long distances on short notice
- Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime
