Job Summary
Guide technical direction for Engineering projects while maintaining and supporting existing initiatives. Collaborate with business stakeholders to implement and support ecommerce platform and learning management system integrations. Optimize team delivery and predictability by improving development processes and fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, testing, and measurement. Requires 7 to 10 years of experience building software with expertise in C#, NodeJS, SQL, or service-oriented architecture, plus prior senior or architect role experience. Ideal for a collaborative, candid leader comfortable working within a fast-moving environment and presenting complex technical information clearly.
Required Qualifications
- 7 to 10 years of experience building software in roles of increasing responsibility and technical capability
- 5+ years of experience building a high-volume, high-performance consumer web application
- Prior experience in a senior engineer or architect role
- Experience with Agile / SCRUM methodologies
- Expertise in at least one of the following areas: C#, NodeJS, SQL, modern JavaScript/CSS/HTML, Service Oriented Architecture, back-end web service design
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Jira, Team City, Octopus, AWS
- Angular (Typescript)
- Experience with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) Technical stack
