Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer for the Cash Equities Liquidity team within JPMorgan Chase's Electronic Trading Technology. Responsible for executing creative software solutions, developing secure high-quality production code, reviewing and debugging code, and leading design reviews and vendor evaluations to drive outcomes-oriented architectural decisions. Contributes to communities of practice, promotes diversity and inclusion, and supports the firm's objective of secure, scalable, and low-latency trading technology across the Cash Equities liquidity stack (including the Smart Order Router and matching engines).
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced C++ skills
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
- Practical cloud native experience
- Cash Equities Electronic Trading
- Low Latency application development experience
