Job Summary
Design, develop, and test new features for SONiC SAI while integrating open source Layer 2 and L3 networking protocols such as teamd, STP, FRR, BGP, and OSPF. Architect data center network infrastructure using C/C++, Python, or Go, leveraging hands-on experience with Docker, Redis-DB, and network ASIC SDKs. Lead projects from scoping to delivery, ensuring customer requirements are met through strong communication skills and influence over peers. Requires 5+ years of software development and deep knowledge of Linux TCP/IP, Netlink, and distributed systems like Leaf/Spine CLOS architecture.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ Years of Software development
- Programming experience with C/C++/Python/go
- Experience in Design, development and testing of Data Center Networking infrastructure and protocols
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms and computer science fundamentals
- Hands on experience with linux TCP/IP networking, Netlink
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Dockers
- Knowledge of SONiC SAI for development of new features and integration
- Hands-on experience with Redis-DB
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience network ASIC architecture and SDK development/integration
