Job Summary
C&I Technical Sales Manager to grow and manage power generation project opportunities in the UK. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies for technical and engineered power solutions, building a robust pipeline, managing opportunities from lead to contract, coordinating with Engineering, Operations, Finance and Project teams, supporting marketing initiatives, and negotiating contracts. Requires proven technical sales or account management experience in power/industrial sectors, Salesforce CRM proficiency, ability to manage complex project-based sales, strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills, and the ability to analyze markets and opportunities. Location: Rugby, England (UK).
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within the power generation, energy, or related industrial sectors
- Strong track record of generating new business and developing customer relationships
- Good knowledge of Salesforce as CRM
- Experience managing complex project-based sales opportunities
- Technical aptitude and the ability to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
