Job Summary
Write, test, debug, and document complex web-based applications using C# (.Net), Blazor, and SQL. Design and implement specialized front-end and back-end programs using HTML5, CSS, and stored procedures. Investigate problem areas and perform root cause analysis to diagnose issues and implement changes that maintain software at the current level. Collaborate with systems analysts and business areas to gather requirements, validate technical specifications, and model solutions meeting functional needs. Present application change demonstrations to seek customer approval for proposed designs. Recommend process improvements for application development projects as needed. This role involves hybrid on-site work at the Texas Department of Agriculture in Austin, with some nights and weekends as requested.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years, Required - Experience in development of web-based software applications
- 4 years, Required - Experience in root cause analysis and resolution
- 4 years, Required - Experience in programming in various coding languages including but not limited to: .Net, HTML, HTML5, ASP, Java, JSP, .NET/C#, front end and back-end user interface methodologies technologies, SQL, and stored procedures
- 4 years, Required - Experience and proficiency in web programming using code languages: .NET/C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle, and SQL Server
- 3 years, Required - Experience with Agile SDLC methodology
- 3 years, Required - Experience working on a team performing a variety of SDLC related tasks
- 3 years, Required - Experience in intra-team collaboration for requirements gathering and software development, modifications, and maintenance
- 3 years, Required - Experience in presenting in-person software application change demonstrations for the purposes of seeking customer approval of proposed design
- 2 years, Required - Experience using Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or similar
- 1 years, Required - Experience programming in C# .Net Blazor
- Must be US Citizen, EAD, or Green Card Holder
- Must be available for weekend shifts

- 02 years, Preferred - Experience and knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and implementation
- 01 years, Preferred - Previous experience working with TDA systems
