Job Summary
Develop, maintain, and support execution strategies while implementing enhancements and customizations for highly available, low-latency systems. Own projects from start to finish, identify and fix trading issues, and respond to trader and client queries. Perform regression testing, manage configuration changes, and release new versions to production. Collaborate with the global development team, leveraging advanced C++ knowledge including templates, multithreading, and Boost libraries to optimize performance. Work closely with colleagues worldwide to deliver under tight deadlines. Based in Hong Kong or Singapore, this role requires excellent communication skills for client interaction and familiarity with European market regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of C++, including templates
- Multithreading, low-level primitives, atomic variables, mutex, condition variable, understanding of pthreads even if using C++ libraries like Boost
- STL (Standard Template Library)
- Boost, including event handling
- TCP and Multicast communications
- Understand debugging with gdb and similar tool
- Unix low-level
- Perl and shell scripting
- SQL
- Ability to work with colleagues around the world
- Quick to learn and curious about all things
- Understand performance verification and optimization tools
