Job Summary
Operate mobile C-Arm fluoroscopy equipment to provide real-time imaging guidance for surgical, pain management, and orthopedic procedures. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and proceduralists to position the C-Arm for optimal imaging while adhering to strict sterile techniques and radiation safety protocols. Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, perform routine quality control checks, and document procedures within the EMR system. Requires valid ARRT certification, one year of C-Arm experience, and proficiency with electronic medical records. Hourly rate ranges from $65 to $70 per hour for full-time or part-time roles (minimum 3 days/week) in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) with the ARRT
- 1 year C-Arm experience
- Expertise in operating and positioning mobile C-Arm equipment
- Understanding surgical sterility protocols
- Ability to produce high-quality fluoroscopic images
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication with surgical teams and patients
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in an OR environment
- Strong team player
Desired Qualifications
- Additional certification in Fluoroscopy or Cardiovascular-Interventional Technology
