Job Summary
Coordinate all aspects of BWR Refueling Outage projects from planning through post-outage closeout, including analyzing equipment breakdowns, directing repairs, and assigning work priorities. Maintain documentation for contractual obligations, develop job hazard analyses and field schedules, and interact with customers regarding schedule and performance. Direct technicians through on-the-job training, pre-job briefs, and performance coaching while ensuring safety and compliance of personnel and plant equipment. Complies with all applicable safety and health rules, including personal dose compliance. Works flexible hours and shifts as required, with travel to remote job sites and unescorted nuclear access necessitating background checks and drug screens.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience
- Expert knowledge of commonly used equipment, practices, procedures and concepts in a particular field
- Require specific technical training and certification
- Knowledge of company and industry safety and health policies and programs as required for specific roles
- Excellent written/verbal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, management, vendors, and customers
- Ability to comprehend instructions, policies, procedures and guidelines required to perform assigned tasks
- Works flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service
- Requires travel to a variety of remote job sites
- Requires unescorted nuclear access (includes background check, psychological exam, and drug screen)
