Job Summary
CRNAs provide expert anesthesia care in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and healthcare providers to deliver high-quality, holistic, evidence-based anesthesia and pain care services. They are responsible for pre-anesthetic preparation, developing individualized anesthetic plans, providing anesthesia induction and post-anesthesia care, and managing patient vitals. CRNAs must hold a valid state RN license, APRN recognition, and CRNA certification by AANA, along with ACLS and BLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing and accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Valid state RN License
- Valid state APRN Recognition
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) at employment start date
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and BLS by the American Heart Association
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) and Taxonomy code required at time of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years of anesthesia care in an acute setting experience preferred but not required
