Job Summary
Senior Social Worker Inpatient provides clinical supervision to assigned social workers and assists the Director of Social Services with policy/procedure development and departmental operations. Responsible for direct clinical service to in-patients, including individual and family treatment interventions, case management, and disposition planning. Participates in treatment teams, conducts family/provider meetings, and advocates for resources to support discharge planning. Maintains progress notes, updates treatment plans, and documents outcomes in the patient’s medical record. May float to units as needed and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure trauma-informed, patient-centered care and adherence to documentation standards. Qualifications include a Master’s in Social Work and LCSW/LICSW licensure, with supervisory experience highly preferred; position located in Brookline, MA (Bournewood Hospital).
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work
- LCSW or LICSW license required
- Two years of supervisory experience highly preferred
