Job Summary
Conduct safety compliance, environmental compliance, facilities management and maintenance, and security operations and monitoring support for the NUWC Division in Keyport, Washington. Perform duties across multiple roles including Safety Representative, Fire Inspector, Health and Safety Administrator, Laboratory Technician, Environmental Technician, Management Analyst, Drafter, Engineering Technician, Alarm Monitor, and Department Security Coordinator. Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with employees and outside contacts. Requires Secret level security clearance and US citizenship; must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand or walk for prolonged periods.
Required Qualifications
- Basic level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Must be able to lift up to 10 to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
- Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level
- US Citizenship
