Job Summary
Provide foreign language support services including transcription and translation/interpretation of non-technical material between English and SCRL languages for military interrogations, intelligence collection, and operational missions. Deliver cultural and ethnic context with expert linguist opinions on terms, phrases, or statements having multiple valid interpretations. Perform document exploitation, scanning, research, and analysis of foreign language documents and intercepted data to extract key information and supplement reports with professional field specifics. Maintain US citizenship and ILR level 3 proficiency in both target language and English.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen
- (2) years' experience of interpretation / translation
- Interagency Language Round Table (ILR) level 3 in both Target Language and English
