Job Summary
Plan and procure materials to meet manufacturing needs; review CTB requirements to procure materials on project timelines; maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid overstocking; assess capacity, cycle times, urgency, and material availability to determine production impacts; assist in setting up supplier accounts with finance; communicate with suppliers to address issues, shortages, constraints; mitigate orders based on production plans; ensure production readiness by addressing material shortages; maintain SAP data accuracy; conduct RFQ and LT assessments for CTB issues; collaborate with A/P on supplier invoices; participate in customer meetings; ensure smooth product transfers between sites; coordinate with planners and provide weekly material status updates; keep cross-functional teams informed about market conditions affecting material supply; resolve CTB challenges with engineering and planning teams; participate in customer audits and special projects; work with logistics to reduce freight costs; review costs for new engineering requirements; address BOM issues with EC team; provide feedback on ECO implementations; manage and clean up POs; process cash-in-advance payments; resolve receiving materials and invoice referrals promptly; engage in continuous improvement of procurement processes through ERP/MRP systems and ERP-based reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Economics, Commerce, or a related field
- Experience: 5–10 years in procurement, supply chain, or a similar field
