Buying / Procurement Specialist

Place and follow-up on purchase orders, manage supplier relationships for PO execution, and handle problems and schedule changes. Update the ERP system and apply sourcing policy while interfacing between suppliers and the entity regarding specifications and budgets. Resolve issues requiring good judgment within established procedures and consult senior team members for matters outside defined parameters. Maintain strong interpersonal skills to serve as the customer-facing interface, explaining technical information and developing relationships. Utilize basic understanding of key business drivers to execute functional policy and strategy within the enabling discipline.
