Job Summary
Lead the commercial performance of a key department by translating brand strategy into customer-right product ranges that drive sales, profit, and market relevance. Synthesize customer insights, trend analysis, and trading performance to make informed buying, pricing, and assortment decisions. Manage a team of Buyers and Assistant Buyers while balancing short-term trade opportunities with long-term strategic thinking. Influence cross-functional stakeholders across Design, Planning, and Production to deliver compelling product ranges that connect with the 16-24 demographic and support continued brand growth.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior Buying role within a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving sales, profit and inventory outcomes
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams
- Strong understanding of product strategy, range architecture and category management
- Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- The ability to influence, collaborate and build strong partnerships across cross-functional teams
