Job Summary
Own and deliver category buying strategy aligned to brand direction and DNA for Menswear (Denim, Pants, Shorts, Shirts & Jackets), building and executing range frameworks that balance newness, volume and profitability. Lead buy decisions across categories to hit sales, margin and mix targets, identify key items to maximise performance, actively trade the business based on performance and insights, and partner with Planning, Design, Production, Marketing and Digital to deliver end-to-end product outcomes while coaching a high-performing buying team.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Buying Manager or Senior Buyer role within a retail or brand environment
- Strong product instinct, with a clear understanding of customer and brand DNA
- Track record of delivering commercially successful ranges across multiple categories
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of how buying decisions impact sales, margin and performance
- Experience translating strategy into clear category direction and product outcomes
- Proven leadership capability, with the ability to coach and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence
- Ability to operate with pace, clarity and strong decision-making in a fast-paced environment
- Global perspective, with experience working across markets
