Job Summary
Manager of Buying for the GCA division who develops localized assortments and buying strategies across Women’s, Unisex, Men’s, Accessories, and Footwear for the Asia-Pacific region, translating global brand direction into regionally relevant offerings. Responsible for building bottom-up sales forecasts, Open-to-Buy management, SKU productivity, in-season performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with Planning, Merchandising, Allocations, Marketing, Design, and Production to support product launches and regional growth. Must ensure strong in-stock positions for foundational products, analyze opportunities/risks, and mentor junior team members while contributing to scalable processes in a fast-paced, in-office role.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BS preferred
- 5–7+ years of experience in buying, planning, or merchandising within apparel or fashion retail
- Experience across multiple product categories preferred; exposure to accessories and/or footwear is a plus
- Strong understanding of Asian markets; knowledge of China and broader APAC strongly preferred
- Strong financial and analytical skills with product intuition and trend awareness
- Ability to work strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; cross-functional collaboration
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Invent AI is a plus
