Job Summary
Lead product selection and develop buying strategies that align with business goals and customer preferences. Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers while managing relationships to ensure performance expectations are met. Control the buying budget, monitor product profitability, and forecast demand to adjust inventory levels and avoid stockouts. Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and consumer behavior to make informed decisions about the product mix. Forecast demand for products, adjust inventory levels based on sales trends, and manage stock to avoid overstocking or stockouts. Work closely with marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to integrate purchasing strategies across the company.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years experience in retail merchandising
