Job Summary
Assess end-user specifications and translate them into procurement advice and plans. Initiate, guide, execute, and implement tender processes while requesting quotations from selected suppliers. Negotiate and draft orders and contracts with suppliers, managing the contract process as the single point of contact. Monitor and improve supplier performance, handling additional work and claims in close consultation with clients. Develop long-term procurement policy in collaboration with stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives. Conclude framework contracts for maintenance services ranging from one-off activities to multi-year investment projects up to 5 million. Maintain contacts at all levels to discuss existing and new contracts at both tactical and strategic levels.
Required Qualifications
- Completed a technical HBO (higher professional education) degree, possibly supplemented with NEVI 1 and 2, and/or you are willing to pursue relevant training
- 2-3 years of experience and an affinity with installation maintenance and technology in general
- Knowledge of tendering projects involving various disciplines
- Maintain contacts at all levels to discuss existing and new contracts at both tactical and strategic levels
- You are good at negotiating and persuading others
- You have good verbal and written skills in both Dutch and English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with project management (Prince 2) and change management processes is a plus
- Affinity with SAP is a plus
