Job Summary
Source and procure materials, supplies, and services to support plant and operational needs across assigned region and partner locations. Issue, track, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely, accurate fulfillment across multiple sites. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and logistics teams in Seattle, Vancouver, and Edmonton to align purchasing with demand. Monitor inventory levels and support optimization to ensure uninterrupted operations. Evaluate and manage suppliers based on quality, service, cost, and reliability; resolve purchasing issues in coordination with site stakeholders. Maintain procurement records and support reporting across all three locations. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain and procurement processes to drive standardization and efficiency across the region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, economic, financial, or business field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing and contract management in manufacturing/production or construction preferred
- Proficiency in SAP/Ariba and MS Office applications preferred
