Job Summary
Lead tendering processes E2E for CAPEX and OPEX, manage procurement activities including requisitions, purchase orders, and spot purchases, and negotiate contracts for technical, volume, pricing, and quality requirements. Drive supplier selection, contract drafting, and vendor qualification while ensuring compliance with Impala's procurement policies and controls. Coordinate replenishment activities, analyze supply market intelligence, and report on key performance indicators such as savings and cycle time. Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Legal, and Maintenance teams to optimize total cost of ownership and expedite critical equipment supply.
Required Qualifications
- English B2-C1 level
- Possess a degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business-related qualification
- Minimum 5 years Procurement experience
- Ability to manage commercial relationships with local suppliers
- Strong negotiation and project management skills
- Team orientated problem solver with outstanding communication and persuasive skills
- Strong functional skills using ERP systems and Microsoft package
- Solid understanding of legal matters relating to Procurement
- Able to accurately work with and analyze high levels of data
- Demonstrates integrity and ethics
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's degree would be helpful but not crucial
