Job Summary
Buyer position in Batchelor & Kimball’s supply chain, responsible for procuring tools and PPE for field projects, performing RFx activities, building a vendor network across the country, managing tool inventory, issuing purchase orders, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve tool utilization and reduce waste. Requires advanced Excel (pivot tables, Vlookup), MS Office, ERP familiarity, strong communication, data analysis, and the ability to balance workload in a team environment. Relocation assistance is not provided.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma (required)
- 1+ year of procurement experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Vlookup)
- ERP software experience preferred (Vista by Viewpoint or similar)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Self-starter with initiative
