Job Summary
Buyer focused on women's sweaters will curate trend-driven product assortments and manage category strategy to meet financial targets. Under guidance of the Division / Category Director, responsibilities include developing and executing buying strategies, trend forecasting via market research and social media signals, negotiating with vendors to secure favorable costs while maintaining quality, managing weekly sales performance and open-to-buy budgets, ensuring timely deliveries, supporting promotions and cohesive product launches, and leveraging sales data and market insights to optimize assortments and profitability. Strong collaboration with production, replenishment, planning, and creative teams is required, along with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace. The role requires 5-7 years of apparel buying experience, a Bachelor's degree in Fashion, and the ability to work onsite from Vernon, CA. Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years in Buying for apparel, ideally within an eCommerce fashion brand
- Strong understanding of current and emerging fashion trends
- Experience with vendors and negotiating product quality, costs, and delivery dates
- Excellent prioritization, project management, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Production, Design or related field, or equivalent work experience
- English, additional language(s) an advantage
