Job Summary
Procure goods, equipment, and services for the SLUHN Network, leading work groups to drive continuous improvement and respond to audits. Responsibilities include reviewing requisitions for accuracy, coordinating with Accounts Payable and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies, resolving receiving issues, identifying patterns for process improvements, coordinating with Master Data Management on Item Master changes, and serving as a liaison between internal stakeholders and vendors while building strong customer and vendor relationships. Collaborates with various departments on product reviews and Network initiatives; requires ability to walk/stand for long periods and lift up to ~30 pounds; full-time schedule with hybrid remote options after training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in business management, supply chain management, or related field
- 2 years of experience in procurement/purchasing
- Healthcare industry preferred
