Job Summary
Issue requests for quotations, review and negotiate prices with suppliers, and administer monthly and annual budgets to drive savings. Prepare and issue Purchase Orders in SAP, expedite orders, and communicate delivery status to requestors. Manage sourcing for various products and commodities, develop supplier selection recommendations, and foster partnerships for Canadian operations. Forecast required materials for plant production, coordinate vendor claims with Quality Assurance, and identify ongoing cost savings opportunities. Execute timely material releases, reconcile inventory, and schedule deliveries via SAP. Coordinate transportation lines, third-party services, and freight claims to ensure on-time, in-full delivery. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support site-wide LEAN projects while maintaining customer focus in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Post - Secondary education
- Minimum of 8 years continuous Procurement / Supply Chain Multisite experience
- Proficient in SAP – ERP, Microsoft Office, Power BI, or any other mass data analytics
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to perform well in a dynamic change environment and manage conflicting priorities while multi-tasking
- Self-motivated
