Job Summary
Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, amendments, and procurement documentation in accordance with company procedures. Source materials, rentals, equipment, and services required for construction, commissioning, logistics, and operational readiness. Issue RFQs, evaluate supplier quotations, conduct commercial analyses, and provide award recommendations. Expedite deliveries, monitor supplier commitments, and proactively resolve delivery and performance issues. Coordinate with logistics providers, warehouse personnel, contractors, and project teams to ensure procurement objectives are achieved. Identify alternative sourcing strategies, track procurement KPIs, and contribute to supply chain process improvements. This role supports the Lynn Lake Gold Project in Manitoba under a two weeks on/two weeks off rotational schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of procurement and supply chain experience
- demonstrated expertise in purchasing, sourcing, and supplier management
- Minimum 3 years supporting mining, industrial construction, EPCM, infrastructure, or major capital projects
- Industrial construction site buying experience
- Experience working in remote or camp-based project environments
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- ability to identify innovative sourcing solutions
- Advanced proficiency with SAP, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement analytics tools
- Excellent organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and deliver results in a dynamic project environment
- Site-based position located at the Lynn Lake Gold Project, Manitoba
- Two (2) weeks on / two (2) weeks off rotational schedule
- Ability to travel throughout the project site as required
Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify innovative sourcing solutions
- Advanced proficiency with SAP, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement analytics tools
