Job Summary
Analyze demand via Corporate ERP to optimize purchasing for inventory and non-inventory items, then create and issue purchase orders while expediting revisions to support the Master production schedule. Monitor weeks of supply inventory levels in MRP to meet targets and minimize obsolescence exposure, preparing back-up documentation for materials management. Manage supplier relationships through weekly meetings, site visits, and component launch coordination, escalating risks to Strategic Sourcing as needed. Review and authorize invoice payments, monitor price variances, and coordinate rejected material returns to ensure on-time delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management or supply chain
- Five (5) to six (6) years of relevant planning and purchasing work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Candidate currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration, Business Management and/or Supply Chain
Desired Qualifications
- General knowledge of FDA regulations related to cGMP in a manufacturing/packaging environment
