Job Summary
Buyer role coordinating purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering to acquire inventory cost-effectively and timely; acquiring and maintaining technical understanding of purchased products; performing cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities; developing new supply sources; monitoring cost, schedule, and scope of subcontracts to ensure highest quality at best value; processing RFQ and Purchase Orders in ERP/CRM; optimizing supply routes and supplier performance; managing vendor relations, negotiations, and business reviews; ensuring data integrity and SLA understanding; leading improvement projects and handling low- to high-complexity procurement tasks; requires 1+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s or Master’s in supply chain-related fields, plus strong English and MS Office skills; SAP, DDS, CPro, and PowerBI knowledge preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s in Supply Chain related areas (ie. Logistics, Economics)
- Procurement or Supply Chain management
- 1+ years of experience
- Communicative English skills (B2 minimum)
- MS Office tools (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- SAP, DDS, CPro, and PowerBI knowledge will be an advantage
- Vendor management experience
- Understanding of complex Supply Chain interdependencies and International Trade
- Ability to work with teams in a multicultural environment
- Continuous Improvement mindset
- Adaptability to unexpected changes
