Buyer / Scheduler

Purchase ingredients, packaging, and supplies to meet production requirements while controlling cost and minimizing excess inventory. Build and maintain the production schedule, coordinating with plant managers, shipping/receiving, and quality to keep lines running on time. Manage supplier relationships by negotiating pricing, tracking shipments, and resolving delivery or quality issues. Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to avoid stockouts or overstock of perishable materials. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders and supplier communications in the ERP/MRP system.
