Buyer - Procurement / Supply Chain (Manufacturing)

Job Summary
Lead procurement and purchasing of raw materials, parts, and supplies for a manufacturing environment; balance quality standards with cost control; conduct MRP reviews to forecast material needs and align purchasing with production schedules; develop and execute material plans, place and track purchase orders, and manage inventory levels to prevent production delays; build and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, manage supplier performance, and resolve compliance issues; collaborate with accounts payable to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure on-time payments; analyze procurement and inventory data in Excel and prepare leadership reports; identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency across procurement.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (or equivalent experience) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
- ERP system experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Strong negotiation skills and sharp attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with suppliers and cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Desired Qualifications
